But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior;
so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail.
They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced;
their dishonor will never be forgotten.
(NIV version)
But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior;
so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail.
They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced;
their dishonor will never be forgotten.
(NIV version)
“But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,”
One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.
I got this Bible verse from talking to my online blogger friend Rose Regine from ALIGOLO. Check out her site if you like anime and the Bible. God bless you all!
As a way to celebrate Good Friday, I wanted to share this anime short called “My Last Day”. According to Wikipedia, “My Last Day” is a 2011 anime short created by the JESUS Film Project. The anime was directed by Barry Cook (director of the Disney movie Mulan) and STUDIO°4C (Their works include Berserk: The Golden Age Arc, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, and The Animatrix).The film short is about the day of punishment and crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The story is told through the eyes of one of the criminals as he sees Jesus suffer and die at Golgotha. This movie focuses on the suffering of Jesus and repentance for sin.
Jesus was betrayed by His disciple Judas and arrested by Roman Soldiers on Thursday night. He was placed in false trials and mocked by soldiers. On Friday, He was scourged and was sentenced for death by Crucifixion. When He died, darkness came and He gave up his spirit. We Christians remember this important Friday because today was the day that Jesus died on the cross and taking our sins. We were supposed to be die on the cross but God loved us that He gave His Son to die for us for our sins (John 3:16). It was something he had to do to save us from death. On Sunday morning, He rises from the tombs and conquered death.
Here is the link to the website if you wish to see it.

I will also leave the video from YouTube, if you wish to watch it here.
WARNING: This film contains realistic depictions of the ancient Roman form of execution called crucifixion. The intended audience is teenagers and older.
You don’t have to watch this video but I am hoping that after you read this or if you do decide to watch it, everyone will turn away from their sins and come to Christ. Jesus died for us so we can be together in Heaven. Please come to Christ.
God Bless you all!
8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”(which means “God with us”).
24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25 But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
