Unboxing: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX Original Soundtrack *Ko-fi shout-out!*

Greetings seeker of darkness and warriors of light! I am here for another unboxing post and this one is from Square Enix. Back in later March, the video game company Square Enix gave me a birthday coupon code for 10% off on anything at their official website I decided to use my coupon and buy a soundtrack collection of Kingdom Hearts. This soundtrack is called Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX Original Soundtrack. This soundtrack contains the music from the game collections of 1.5 and 2.5. This collection contains two soundtracks in one box. The soundtrack for 1.5 has three discs and 2.5 has 4 discs. Inside each of the soundtrack cases has a small booklet with has the composer’s comments and a collage of Kingdom Hearts game moments from cutscenes to gameplay. If you have the money and you love the music from the game like the Disney worlds and themes from the story, you should get this. In 1.5, it also has the Japanese version of Simple and Clean. I hope Square Enix releases a 2.8 soundtrack and a KH3 soundtrack soon.

Before I close this post, I want to give a shout-out to a kind Ko-fi supporter mikekelly666. Thank you Mike for donating! ūüôā

Kingdom Hearts III theme song “Chikai” is available to download!

Hello KH fans! Even though we have a long way to go for Kingdom Hearts III, I got some exciting news to help you pass the time. If you love the games, you might also love the music and the well-known singer for the main songs. Returning for the series, Hikaru Utada is back and she sings a brand new song for Kingdom Hearts III called Don’t Think Twice.

Announced in the Kingdom Hearts Twitter, Utada’s soundtrack Hatsukoi is released in iTunes and Google Play. The soundtrack includes the Japanese version “Chikai”, which is Don’t Think Twice in Japanese translation. If you love this song and you want to own the copy in Japanese, go pick this song from any online store and play until your hearts content. It’s unknown when will there be an English version release, but I guarantee you that this version is still great.

Final Fantasy XV Original Soundtrack unboxing

Welcome everyone! Today is the first month of 2018. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. It has been busy for me and my family but I did get to relax and enjoy the gifts I got from Christmas. One of my gifts I was happy to get is the video game soundtrack to Final Fantasy XV. It’s called Final Fantasy XV Original Soundtrack and it has the all the songs from the video game in four discs. I will leave the pictures down below but I want to talk about this fine collection.

Having this soundtrack, it’s a big set because like mentioned, it has four discs and that is just for the standard version. The first set of pictures shows the front cover of the CD and the back has the main four heroes of the series.

Opening the CD collection will have the four discs but with Noctis and his friends pictures on each one.

There’s also booklet included in the collection which shows the game’s scenes from the video game, an illustration by¬†Yoshitaka Amano (well character artist and designer who did Final Fantasy IV and anime Vampire Hunter D) list of songs, credits and exclusive chat with¬† the video game director Hajime Tabata and music composer Yoko Shimomura.

Last but not least, we get a group picture of the four heroes: Noctis, Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus.

Unbreakable Bonds

This is an excellent collection if you enjoy FFXV and music like me and want to relieve the moments by listening to the tracks. My favorites would be¬† the main theme of Final Fantasy and Sominus. As much as I enjoyed the collection, I felt like this cover of the CD could have done better. The cover pretty much as the game title with a black background. I changed it to the video game cover where Noctis and his group are with the Regalia with the dark blue sky. Besides the cover, it’s not a bad collection and if you want the songs, you should get this set physical or digital. If you are rich or a hardcore fan more than me, go get the blu-ray collection or the Limited Edition in which both include a digital copy with the physical copy.

Here is the link if you want the CD I have:

Also, please support my blog by donating to my Ko-fi. So far donators were kind of enough to buy me coffee. Thank you Rocco B. and Maku for your donations. You guys are the best.:

“Clannad” and “Clannad After Story” OP&ED Review

clannad op-ed cover

In this small soundtrack, you get the opening song “Megumeru” and ending song “Dango Dai Kazoku” in both Full and TV (short) version. You also get the “off-vocal” version of the songs which is the same as above but the lyrics are intentionally out of place but sounds very pleasant. As a Clannad fan, I did not hesitate on getting this. You can get this for a small price at the iTunes store without hurting your wallet. I recommend buying the whole album rather than buying the songs individually because you get an exclusive song named “Syoujo Genso (ZTS Remix) by Rita and zts. Personallly I think this remix song is catchy.

Much like the one above, this song as all the versions of the opening song “Toki O Kizamu Uta” and ending song “Torch”. However it does not have an exclusive song like the first. Still, this was an amazing collection.

Long story short, I recommend buying these albums if you enjoyed the anime. Every time I hear these songs, I remember the good and bad moments in Clannad. I got these two from iTunes for my iPod for a nice price. The feels really pack a punch ;_;

The Best Fullmetal Alchemist soundtrack review

*Heads up, Anime Expo starts tomorrow! \^_^/

Being a fan of the anime Fullmetal Alchemist, I really love the intro and ending music of the show. The songs from the classic and Brotherhood had great songs. This CD not only has the best songs from the show but it has ALL the opening songs AND ending songs from Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Instead of buying different soundtracks to collect the songs, just get this. The first CD collects all the songs from the classic series and the second disc has songs from Brotherhood. Also as an added bonus, both discs have songs from the movies Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa and Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos. The song Nana Kitade Wonds is not from the anime nor movie but it is from the Japan’s PS2 video game Fullmetal Alchemist 3: Kami o Tsugu Shojo. If you are a fan of the series and want to collect the songs in one album, you should get this. I found this CD in eBay.

I give 5/5 stars
