Hello gamers! If you been thinking about getting the Nintendo Switch, but you want to get it for an affordable price, Nintendo may have the answers you are looking for. It’s been announced today that Nintendo is re-releasing a whole new version of the Nintendo Switch called the Nintendo Switch Lite.
According to the details, the Nintendo Switch Lite, will be a smaller version of the traditional Switch console. The price on the Lite version will be around $199 and it will have three different colors and an upcoming Pokemon version for the game Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. The main difference between the Lite and the regular Switch is that the Lite is going to be a dedicated handheld console. You can not play the game in a docking station and it won’t have the IR motion and rumble feature. It will have the new D-Pad button controll and the battery life is way better. If you want to play motion base games like 1-2 Switch, you will need an additional Joy-con controllers. The Nintendo Switch Lite is expected to be released on September 20th for $200.
If you like hack and slash games like Bayonetta or NieR: Automata, get ready for another intense action game in the palm of your hands. During Nintendo’s E3 conference, Platinum Games released a trailer highlighting the epic moments of the new game title called Astral Chain. Based on the gameplay, you work with these sentinel weapons called Legions. Teaming up with these partners will allow to create epic combos and work together to protect Tokyo from a mysterious invasion. Each Legion has five types of weapons in which you will need to know when fighting enemies. There is the Sword, Arm, Arrow, Beast, and Aex. The game will be available on the Switch on August 30th, 2019
If you been an Animal Crossing fan since the GameCube era, get ready to rejoice! If you thought the announcement of The Legend of Zelda Breathe of the Wold sequel wasn’t enough to excite you, hopefully this will. Nintendo announced at the E3 conference that anticipated Animal Crossing Switch title has been announced and will be ready for 2020. The new game is called Animal Crossing: New Horizons and it’s a game where you as the player live in a deserted island and make friends. The game will be out on March 20th, 2020 for Nintendo Switch.
If you are familiar with Suda51’s work, you might know the game No More Heroes. No More Heroes is an unusual game that first started off in the Nintendo Wii and then later on PS3 and Xbox 360 for ports and spinoffs. The second game once again went back to Wii. In this recent news, the main character Travis is back for the third installment in No More Heroes 3 for Nintendo Switch. Voice actor for Travis Touchdown is once again Robin Atkins Downes and Paula Tiso will reprise her role as Sylvia Christel. The game will be released in 2020.
Things are heating up this upcoming summer for gamers around the world. If you have a Nintendo Switch, you are going to experience some amazing games. If you can’t wait for the upcoming Square Enix’s Avengers game, maybe you can take enjoyment in Team Ninja’s Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order game. This game is coming out on July 19th for Nintendo Switch only. Revealed in the trailer, the game adds new heroes such as Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Ghost Rider and Bloodstone. You can create your team of heroes and fight against villains like Thanos and the Black Order, Magneto, Kingpin and Doc Ock. At the end of the trailer, people who pre-order the game will get access to the teams such as Marvel Knights, X-Men and Fantastic Four.

What started off as a GameCube game and then later a 3DS title and arcade game, now is back and ready to played on the Switch. The Nintendo Conference revealed that the upcoming installment Luigi’s Mansion will be released this year. The game trailer highlights some interesting features such new techniques for capturing ghosts like new attacks and a slime doppelganger named Gooigi. You can even play Skyscraper mode and team up with people online to capture ghosts and save Toads. It’s time for Luigi to be number 1!
Great news Nintendo fans, a new fighter joins Super Smash Bros Ultimate! It’s also the Nintendo’s conference in this E3 day. Joining Joker and Piranha Plant, we have the classic N64 video game character Banjo and Kazooie. These two dynamic duo made their debut in the Nintendo 64 and it was developed by the company Rare. It wasn’t until Microsoft bought Rare and took games IP like Banjo-Kazooie and Battletoads. Also coming to Smash Ultimate, we have another RPG character joining the fight. The Hero from the popular JRPG Dragon’s Quest joins Smash. In the trailer, you can play as either recent Hero from Dragon Quest XI or even play as his other versions from the past games.
The Hero from Dragon Quest is expect to be in the game in summer and Banjo-Kazooie will be in Fall. These characters are DLC and can be bought separately or together in the Fighter’s Pass.
But wait there’s more! According to GameSpot, the recent title of Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest XI Echoes of an Elusive’s Age, will be coming to Nintendo Switch! This game will be in Fall.
If Final Fantasy VII Remake wasn’t enough for you, Square Enix got you covered. Announced at the Square Enix conference, the long awaited classic game Final Fantasy VIII will be heading to your consoles and PC this year. Just like the games Final Fantasy X/X-2, Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy XII, the remastered game will be called Final Fantasy VIII Remastered. Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will be on PC, Switch, PS4 and Xbox One this year. Grab your gunblades and prepare a fantasy adventure!
Looks like you might want watch switch consoles and use the Nintendo Switch instead of PS4, X1 and PC (pun intended) because here comes a game joining the Switch. It’s been announced today that the hack and slash game Devil May Cry 1 will be joining the Switch. Not to be confused with the Team Ninja version, this one that is joining the Switch is the version from 2001. Capcom will be selling this game on the Switch this upcoming summer.
As we are getting close to 2019, get ready for some new video games. Besides the anime games One Piece: World Seeker and Jump Force, another anime is set to be released in 2019 and it’s from Arc System Works. The video game Kill la Kill the Game -If- (Ifu) is a game based on the popular Trigger anime Kill la Kill and it will be a 3D fighting game developed by Arc Systems Work who is well known for doing Dragon Ball FighterZ and Guilty Gear. It’s been announced that the game is not only coming for PS4 and PC, but a Switch version is expected for this game as well. It’s unknown however if it will be released the same day, but this is good news for Switch fans. Also confirmed, two new characters join the roster. We have the anime’s main antagonist Ragyō Kiryūin and her servant Nui Harime.

It’s been mentioned that the game will have an original story and the protagonist will focus only on Satsuki. I will try to keep everyone posted on more news on this game. As a quick recap, this game will be released sometime in 2019. The game will be on PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
