Have you played as Shulk and you don’t know what game is he from? He’s not from Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy, it’s from Nintendo’s JRPG game Xenoblade. Xenoblade originally came out for Nintendo Wii U for Japan 2010 and in NA 2012. Players, old and new fans, can experience the adventures with Shulk in Xenoblade 1: Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch on 2020.

Coming from the Wii U, we have Tokyo Mirage Session #FE; in this new Switch version Tokyo Mirage Session #FE Encore. This game is a crossover collaboration with the same people who worked Fire Emblem and by the team who worked on Shin Megami Tensei. In this game, you fight off against these evil mirage spirits with the power of fighting and music and you will also be working with Fire Emblem characters such as Chrom and Caeda. You can pre-purchase this game and the game will be out on January 17, 2020.

Nintendo Direct News: Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Image result for banjo kazooie

Gamers, get your Switch because Super Smash Bros Ultimate is going to get epic! Masahiro Sakurai, the game director behind Super Smash Bros Ultimate made some announcements in the recent Nintendo Direct. Today is the official release of the announced character Banjo and Kazooie. Banjo and Kazooie is owned by game company Rare but they are also owned by Microsoft and their first game was released in the Nintendo 64 in 1998. Not only that these two characters are in this game, but players will also be able to play in the iconic world Spiral Mountain.

Keep an eye out for guest characters in the background and have fun with the final smash!

This isn’t the only news I have. Also announced on the same day, it’s been confirmed that Fatal Fury fighter Terry Bogard will be joining this game as the fourth DLC character and he is expected to be released in November.

Even though these characters are not DLC, you can at least make then with your Miis. It’s been announced that Super Smash Bros will be adding customize-able outfits for your Miis. You can dress your Miis as Zero from Mega Man, Team Rocket trainers, Mystic Ninja and Sans from Undertale.

There is also going to be a major update to Ultimate called Vers. 5.0.0. In this update, players can customize the Mii Fighters special moves. Coming back from the Melee, players will also be able to play Home Run Contest. In this mode, you or with a friend can work together to do damage to a sandbag and launch them across the field to break records.

Last but definitely not least, Sakurai made a comment that he does plan to bring in more fighters aside from the Fighters Pass. So if you are still asking for characters like Sora, Dante, Shantae, Master Chief or Mai Shiranui, don’t give up! There might be a chance for these characters to show up.

That’s all the news I gathered today. What’s your thoughts?

Disney announces The Lion King and Aladdin classic game collection!

Think back when you were you were little and you used to play classic licensed games like Disney games on your SNES or Sega Genesis. Here you are an adult and what if I told you that you can play these games again in your modern consoles. It’s been announced yesterday that Disney is planning to release a game collection in which it will have three different game versions of Aladdin and The Lion King including a never before played demo of an Aladdin game; the total games in this collection is seven. This game collection is called Disney Classic Games: Aladdin and The Lion King. According to IGN, here is what we’re getting:

  • Disney’s Aladdin (Sega Genesis)
  • Disney’s Aladdin (Game Boy)
  • Disney’s Aladdin (Final Cut)
  • Disney’s Aladdin (Trade Show)
  • Disney’s The Lion King (Sega Genesis)
  • Disney’s The Lion King (SNES)
  • Disney’s The Lion King (Game Boy/Super Game Boy)

Based on the trailer, players will be able to play the game with enhance graphics and the ability to jump into any moment in the game. You will also be able to rewind time in order to correct yourself if you make a mistake while playing. Unfortunately this game, as far as I know, will not have the SNES version of Aladdin. My guess is that this game was once licensed by Capcom and now Capcom doesn’t have the rights for the game anymore. It’s pretty common for Capcom because they usually lose the rights to a game. This happened before with the Ducktales Remastered and Marvel vs Capcom Origins. The SNES Aladdin game was designed by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami.

This game will be released for a price of $29.99 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC. It set to be released in the Fall 2019.
