Unboxing: Aquaman Walmart exclusive Funko DVD set

Who would have thought that Aquaman would have an awesome movie good as Wonder Woman? Aquaman was a fun DC movie in 2018 in which tells the story about a man named Arthur Curry who is half-man, half-Atlantean who must step up in order to prevent an upcoming war between Atlantis and the people living in the surface land. Arthur will become not just a hero, but a king. As a Pop collector, I was eager to get this movie set; not only I got three copies of the movie (DVD, Blu-Ray and digital), but I also got the keychain Pop Funko figure. Just like my Alita post, this one is small enough to accessorize. Unfortunately, I wish they would have taken better care of the box set. It has some dents and bends, but at least the figures and discs were fine. This keychain counts as my 36th figure of my set.

Hello Pop lovers. It’s me Matthew and I am here to share you another find piece of collection. I been wanting to share this with you guys for a while but life been a distraction. At the same time I bought the Monster’s Inc. version of Donald and Goofy, I also bought a Hot Topic exclusive Disney Treasure Box with the Aladdin theme. In this treasure box, it has the following:

  • A Movie Moment Pop Funko figure of Jafar as a Serpent fighting Aladdin
  • a scarab pin
  • Genie’s lamp keychain
  • A mystery figure which is toy Abu

 

The Aladdin movie moment set would be my 35 figure in my collection.

Donald and Goofy Monster Inc Pops!

Donald! Goofy! All for one and one for all!

This is just a short post showing another set of Pops I have currently have. In the end of July, I bought these two Kingdom Hearts III Pop Funko figures from Hot Topic in July. I got the Monsters, Inc. versions of Donald and Goofy. These two go together with my Monsters, Inc. version of Sora. I got Sora a while back in last Christmas from Ezra. In Kingdom Hearts III, Sora, Donald and Goofy goes to Monsters, Inc. world and team up with Mike and Sully and help return Boo home while also fighting the Unverse and Vanitas.

Watch out Allison, you are not the only one who can give me a Pop figure as a gift. Even though it was passed my birthday, my friend Ezra got me a gift two weeks ago. He knows I collect these Pops and got me a character from a series I really love. I got Frieza (Final Form). This is the 31st figure of my collection. Thank you Ezra and God bless you brother. This is the third Dragon Ball character I have in my collection and they are from different series. I have Kid Goku from the classic Dragon Ball, Frieza from Dragon Ball Z and I have Super Saiyan Trunks from Dragon Ball Super.

Welcome collector’s! Once again I want to share with you my Pop Funko collection. As  a collector fanatic, I can’t resist on getting exclusive figures and Pop’s based on my favorite series and genre.

26. Eto (Tokyo Ghoul) from Fall Convention Exclusive 2018

I don’t usually say no exclusive figures and it’s good thing Hot Topic gave shoppers a discount coupon. This was something I been meaning to get since it was exclusive and I did like watching Tokyo Ghoul. I plan to read more of the manga and then watch the anime up to Tokyo Ghoul:re. I don’t know much about this character except that I seen her in Tokyo Ghoul Square Root A (Tokyo Ghoul √2 or season 2). She is a mysterious character who is part of a organization called Aogiri Tree where Kaneki joins them after getting kidnapped by Jason. I do like her design and have her identity concealed.

27. Riku (Kingdom Hearts III)

We waited this long for Kingdom Hearts III. We had spinoffs and Remix collections for the past years and now with KH3 here, fans were eager to get this game. In this new game, the characters have changed and got not only powers but also new fashion and keyblades. Riku’s appearance has been updated since Kingdom Hearts II and he wears clothing strikingly resembling Noctis from Final Fantasy XV. He also has a new keyblade that looks like a car key.  guess the next game will have Riku driving a car as a promotion to becoming a keyblade master.

28. (28a, 28b, 28c). Batman Pocket Pops set

Three is better than one. Unlike the previous figures I collected, these three figures are really small. I got this set from Amazon and with some credit I used, I only spent about $5. I will be honest, I got this because I heard you can also get these figures in the deluxe Blu-Ray edition of the Batman: Animated Series collection. The deluxe edition comes with all the episodes in Blu-Ray DVD including the two movies The Mask of Phantasm and SubZero and it has three small Pocket Pops of Batman, Joker and Harley Quinn. To avoid spending a fortune, I decided to buy the figures separately and I will settle with getting the collection in standard format.

29. Pikachu (Pokemon) Target exclusive

I don’t usually shop at Target because I have problems with their online shopping. Alternatively, I used eBay instead. I like Pikachu as a kid and I still do. A Pop version of Pikachu looks really cute. I am hoping to get the Bulbasaur figure next.

Happy New Years! – Christmas Pop Funko Haul!

Hello everyone, welcome back again. I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas. If some of you got money for Christmas for shopping, I hope you had a fun time shopping and got some sweet deals. For me, I got some giftcards and money, but I mostly used my money to cash in some awesome Pop Funko figures. Also, my friends Allie and Ezra got me some figures from different series I like. Here is what I received during the Christmas season.

21-22. Seto Kaiba and Blue-Eyes White Dragon (Yu-Gi-Oh!)

I got not one but two character figures from the anime series Yu-Gi-Oh!. My friend Allie got me these two since she knows I like Yu-Gi-Oh! Well, technically speaking, we both love the series. Blue-Eyes White Dragon is one my favorite monster card from the series since I like the color blue and dragons are so cool. As for Kaiba, I didn’t like him in the beginning of the series, but as time passed, I like his personality and how he didn’t care about anyone except for his brother Mokuba. I also admire his goal on trying prove himself he’s better than Yami Yugi. I just need two more Blue Eyes so I can summon the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon Pop Funko Figure! Like the abridged series version says, screw the rules I have money!

23. Sora in Monster Form (Kingdom Hearts III)

My friend Ezra got me this for Christmas. As we are getting close to Kingdom Hearts III, Sora appears to be showing up in different forms as he fights the darkness in each world. In this form, Sora is taken in the appearance as a monster as he enters Monsters Inc. Sora teams up with Sully and Mike as they help get Boo back home, but also avoiding the evil Vanitas.

24-25. Nico Robin (One Piece) and Renji (Bleach)

I got these two characters from Christmas money at a toy store called Optimus Toys. My first choice was getting Nico Robin from One Piece. Nico Robin is an anime crush I love in the anime One Piece. She is my favorite girl in the series. As for the other figure, I got Renji from Bleach. Renji was recently added to the Bleach Pop Funko figures along with the addition of Grimmjow and Renji in his Bankai Form which is an exclusive at GameStop. Renji is one of my favorite characters in the series Bleach.
