Friday Funny 189: Are you ready kids?

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome everyone for another episode of Friday Funny. I hope everyone had a good November this year as today is the last day of November. It’s time to say goodbye to the month of Turkey and the sales of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In my opinion, it feels more like Black Friday Weekend and Cyber Monday week. With some sales coming to a close, get ready to save some money and spend it all for gifts for others and yourself! As we make it to December, get ready for some awesome movies and releases. We have Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros Ultimate coming out this early December. We also have movies such as the Transformer’s spinoff Bumblebee. DC is dishing out the origin movie Aquaman. Marvel is going to conclude their movies of 2018 with a PG-13 “Christmas” movie of Deadpool called Once Upon A Deadpool and Sony Animation is giving fans an awesome Spider-Man cartoon movie called Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Besides buying gifts, I hope you guys saved enough money for popcorn and tickets to see these movies. Last but never the least, in case you missed out, the creator of the cartoon series SpongeBob SquarePants has died this week. Stephen Hillenburg died in the age of 57 from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) or also known as  Lou Gehrig’s disease. ALS is a terminal disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. SpongeBob SquarePants made his debut in May 1st, 1999 and it’s considered a great cartoon in Nickelodeon. The cartoon made over 11 seasons including specials and even had celebrity guests in some episodes such as Johnny Depp and David Bowie. It even has two movies and appeared in video games. It’s unknown what’s going to happen now for the yellow sponge’s future, but it’s important to know that Stephen is no longer suffering. He gave us something to laugh whenever we watch TV.

Let’s end November with a powerful note.

Credit to the artist. Comment down below so I can know who they are and give credit.

As a way to honor Stephen Hillenburg, here are some SpongeBob clips:

That’s all kids!

Sad News: SpongeBob Creator Stephen Hillenburg died

If you thought losing Stan Lee was awful, I got some unfortunate news I recently heard from Twitter. According to the official Nickelodeon Twitter, it’s been announced that Stephen Hillenburg has died. If you don’t know who is Stephen Hillenburg, he is the creator of the late 90s cartoon series SpongeBob SquarePants.

According to Variety, the cause of death was ASL. At the site, ASL, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. It was announced a while back that Stephen was diagnosed by ASL in March of 2017. Now that he is gone, it’s unknown what’s going to happen with the SpongeBob cartoons and how is this going to affect Nick. SpongeBob SquarePants first premiered in May 1st, 1999. In 1993 to 1996, he wrote and directed the cartoon series Rocko’s Modern Life. SpongeBob has been getting a lot popularity from old and new fans. It’s around now season 11 and even has two movies.

SpongeBob SquarePants is a cartoon that I will always enjoy. I remember watching every episode and quotes. It’s part of my life and I am saddened that Stephen Hillenburg is gone. I am thankful for him for giving us something to laugh about. God Bless his friends and family.

Friday Funny 180: S for September, S for SpongeBob!

Thank God it’s Friday! Welcome back to another meme-ful Friday! I hope everyone is doing well today on this Friday. Whether if today is your day off or you’re working, you can still make time for some memes. I don’t have much new news for today, but I will say that if you are watching Toonami tomorrow, get ready for the English Dub premeire of the sequel anime called Boruto: Naruto Next Generation. This anime takes place after Shippuden and focuses on Naruto and Hinata’s child Boruto. If you like Naruto, get ready for tomorrow for ninja action because Toonami will be showing both Naruto Shippuden and Boruto! Also joining Toonami is the original Dragon Ball Z Kai (from Saiyan Saga to Android Saga) and the original Samurai Jack cartoon slices into the line-up. After this Friday, we enter a new week and get ready for October! While most people are praising the new Spider-Man game, get ready for Spider-Man’s rival to take the spotlight in his own solo movie Venom. Also, I finally beat Marvel Spider-Man on the PS4. This game was amazing and I am hoping to review the game soon. For this theme of TGIF, I have prepared this with SpongeBob SquarePants memes! If you don’t know who is SpongeBob, then you must be Patrick Star and live under  rock. SpongeBob is a very popular cartoon in Nickelodeon and the popularity has caused fans to make many accurate memes based on this sponge. Technically, he is a 90s cartoon since he made his debut in 1999.

Are you ready for memes kids? I can’t hear!

Here is some random SpongeBob videos!

Bye kids!

TGIF! Thank God It’s Friday!

What?! How did they know?

Anyway, today is April first, the beginning of the month. I didn’t plan to prank anybody since today is also April Fools day but I do have some news that hopefully are true. Based on this title, JoJo fans will remember that this Joseph Joestar’s favorite hobby, predicting people’s lines and stealing it. The reason why I chose this is because today is the premiere of the anticipated anime and sequel JoJo Bizarre Adventure Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable. Anime streaming sites like Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime but the time is unknown. Viz will also stream the series too with the previous parts, Phantom Blood, Battle Tendency, and Stardust Crusaders. According to Crunchyroll, the anime will have a total of 39 episodes.

Another anime that will be premiering but on April 3rd, the superhero anime My Hero Academia will be streaming.  The manga was created by Kohei Horikoshi and FUNimation recently licensed the streaming rights.

Friday Funny 39: I Have a Dream

TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday! Today it is Friday and it is a three day weekend for some. This weekend is a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his amazing acts of courage for giving African-Americans equal rights and fight off racism. Let’s all remember that we are the same because we are humans and we should not hate each based on skin. Let’s be like brother and sisters and stick together.

Besides this holiday, I have returned back to college and I will most likely be busy in the next couple of weeks but fret not, I will do my best to stay active on blogging and continue to chat with others :). Even though it’s been out for weeks, Star Wars Episode VII is considered the best movie in theaters. Today in theaters is the family friendly movie called “Norm of the North”. The movie is about a polar bear named Norm (voiced by Rob Schneider) and his adventure in New York. Now…  Let’s begin this TGIF!

He can drive!

While I was trying to find something to share for this and I came this close to finding nothing. I found an interesting video of the Oscar Awards dated back in 2001. This award was for best animated feature. The nominees were Jimmy Neutron, Monster Inc., and Shrek. Only one of them gets the award. Here is the video:

This week is the last week of my winter break and after this weekend, I have to go back to school. Just like last quarter, I might be busy on my studies again but I will try to continue blogging and staying touch with everyone. As we continue to get adjusted for the new year, this year will have many surprises. Let’s make 2016 better thank 2015! Enough of me babbling and let’s start!

I will end this with two videos. The first is Taylor Swift’s song “Blank Space” and the second video is “Blank Page” a parody song by NateWantsToBattle. Enjoy
