It looks we’re going to hit some bumps on the road because I got some surprising news to share.
The anticipated remastered collection game Spyro Reignited Trilogy won’t be coming out this September, but instead it will be out this November 13th of this year. According to game developers “Toys For Bob”, the game needs some “love and care.”
Co-head of Toys For Bob Paul Yan commented on this news on the Activision blog:
“We’re deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018. I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care. In November when you’re exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar and the Forgotten Worlds, we know you’ll agree the extra time was worth the wait.”
What do you think about this news?
Spyro Reignited Trilogy will now be releasing on November 13th, 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One.
Looks like we’re getting new games for 2018 and unfortunately, Nintendo Switch will miss out.

Years ago, Activision and Vicarious Visions surprised us nostalgic players when they revealed they will remaster the Playstation classic first three of Naughty Dog’s Crash Bandicoot games. In 2017, they made it happen and if you were a PS4 gamer, you got to experience Crash again in high definition.
Recently, this exciting feeling might be coming back! Revealed from Kotaku UK, Activision is reported that they are planning to work on remastering the Spyro the Dragon trilogy from the Playstation. According to IGN, the remastered collection will have the three classic games (Spyro the Dragon, Ripto’s Rage, and Year of the Dragon). Also, this will be for Playstation 4 again since it is mentioned that it will also include PS4 Pro support along with enhanced cinematic cutscenes, music, and new assests.
