It was already announced a while back that Super Smash Bros Ultimate would be getting another fighters pass where more characters would be joining the roster and it will be chosen by Nintendo rather than game director Masahiro Sakurai. It was reported by Nintendo that a character from the game Arms would joining the game. Today in a press conference, Sakurai revealed that Arms fighter is Min Min and she is going to be playable. She is planned to be released in June 30th. Also revealed, players will also have the ability to purchase more costumes pieces for the Mii fighter dress up as characters from Tekken and Fallout. More amiibos are in the works as well such as The Hero and Joker for the fall. Are you excited for this DLC?
Today, we finally got news on who is the last DLC character for the game Super Smash Bros Ultimate for this Fighters Pass. Some of may have requested characters like Dante, Sora or even Shantae but now get ready for this character. Joining Super Smash Bros Ultimate, we have Byleth from the Fire Emblem series. Byleth can be played as either a male or female character and this character is from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Byleth will be available for download in Jan 28th.
Besides this news and also coming out on Jan 28th, fans can also pre-purchase on that day for Fighters Pass Vol. 2. There will be a total of 6 DLC characters in this pass and if you buy the pass, you’ll get a bonus Mii outfight called the Ancient Soldier Gear.
Last but not least, get ready for some more Mii outfits. Players will be able to purchase costumes such as Altair (Assassin’s Creed) Rabidds (Raving Rabbids series), X (Megaman X series), MegaMan.EXE, and Cuphead.
Gamers, get your Switch because Super Smash Bros Ultimate is going to get epic! Masahiro Sakurai, the game director behind Super Smash Bros Ultimate made some announcements in the recent Nintendo Direct. Today is the official release of the announced character Banjo and Kazooie. Banjo and Kazooie is owned by game company Rare but they are also owned by Microsoft and their first game was released in the Nintendo 64 in 1998. Not only that these two characters are in this game, but players will also be able to play in the iconic world Spiral Mountain.
Keep an eye out for guest characters in the background and have fun with the final smash!
This isn’t the only news I have. Also announced on the same day, it’s been confirmed that Fatal Fury fighter Terry Bogard will be joining this game as the fourth DLC character and he is expected to be released in November.
Even though these characters are not DLC, you can at least make then with your Miis. It’s been announced that Super Smash Bros will be adding customize-able outfits for your Miis. You can dress your Miis as Zero from Mega Man, Team Rocket trainers, Mystic Ninja and Sans from Undertale.
There is also going to be a major update to Ultimate called Vers. 5.0.0. In this update, players can customize the Mii Fighters special moves. Coming back from the Melee, players will also be able to play Home Run Contest. In this mode, you or with a friend can work together to do damage to a sandbag and launch them across the field to break records.
Last but definitely not least, Sakurai made a comment that he does plan to bring in more fighters aside from the Fighters Pass. So if you are still asking for characters like Sora, Dante, Shantae, Master Chief or Mai Shiranui, don’t give up! There might be a chance for these characters to show up.
That’s all the news I gathered today. What’s your thoughts?
Great news Nintendo fans, a new fighter joins Super Smash Bros Ultimate! It’s also the Nintendo’s conference in this E3 day. Joining Joker and Piranha Plant, we have the classic N64 video game character Banjo and Kazooie. These two dynamic duo made their debut in the Nintendo 64 and it was developed by the company Rare. It wasn’t until Microsoft bought Rare and took games IP like Banjo-Kazooie and Battletoads. Also coming to Smash Ultimate, we have another RPG character joining the fight. The Hero from the popular JRPG Dragon’s Quest joins Smash. In the trailer, you can play as either recent Hero from Dragon Quest XI or even play as his other versions from the past games.
The Hero from Dragon Quest is expect to be in the game in summer and Banjo-Kazooie will be in Fall. These characters are DLC and can be bought separately or together in the Fighter’s Pass.
But wait there’s more! According to GameSpot, the recent title of Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest XI Echoes of an Elusive’s Age, will be coming to Nintendo Switch! This game will be in Fall.
Move over Piranha Plant, a new fighter joins Smash.
Before we get to the meat of the news, I got some news in regards to Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Nintendo is releasing a 3.0 update for Super Smash Bros Ultimate and it is going to give gamers a whole new experience. Players can finally create stages and even share them online. Players will also be able use the Nintendo Switch online app to chat and view gamer’s videos and pictures. It will be an awesome online gaming experience and it’s going to be out on April 17th/18th.
Now let’s keep the news going and you been waiting for this for a long time. It’s been revealed that Joker from Persona 5 will also be joining in the update. In order to play as Joker, players will either have to buy separately in a DLC or as part of the Fighter Season Pass. Players will be able to use Joker and use his Rebellion powers and his persona spirit Arsene. Joining him is his stage called Mementos. This world is almost like Battlefield but the stage can alter its appearance and the colors can change based on the music being played. Music from Persona 5, 4, and 3 will be included in the game and it will affect the colors of the world. Persona costumes will be added for your custom Mii. Last but not least, Super Smash Bros Ultimate will also be adding spirits based on Persona characters.
If you like the video game and the anime, I got something for manga readers. It’s been confirmed by Viz Media that they got the license to publish the manga adaptation of the hit JRPG game Persona 5. The manga is set to be released in winter 2020.
