In the world of guns and steel that is Gun Gale Online, LLENN has been a devoted, female solo player. She is obsessed with two things: donning herself entirely in pink and honing her skills with consistent game play. She soon discovers her love for hunting other players (a.k.a. PK), soon to be known as the “Pink Devil.” Meanwhile, LLENN meets a beautiful yet mysterious player, Pitohui, and the two click right away. Doing as she is told by Pitohui, she enters the Squad Jam group battle.

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online gets an English Dub!

Great news for SAO fans! Announced at the Anime NYC 2018 this weekend, Aniplex of America or simply called AniplexUSA announced that the series Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online will be receiving an English Dub cast. If you don’t know about this series, it’s an anime spinoff which focuses on the gaming world of Gun Gale Online where players compete to see who is the top dog of shooting games. This anime doesn’t focus on the characters from the main Sword Art Online story like Kirito and Asuna. The anime appeared in April along with other anime during the spring season. Now that the anime is going to get an English Dub, this also means that the anime will also be streaming in sites such as Hulu and Netflix. So if you like to watch Sword Art Online in English Dub online, you will be able to watch seasons 1, 2 and Alternative. However, it’s unknown when will a DVD or Blu-Ray home video will be released for purchase. So far we also don’t know when will this anime be release for Netflix and Hulu.

The story follows Karen Kohiruimaki, a 183-centimeter-tall (6-foot-tall) college student who’s insecure her height, and is bad at dealing with people in the real world. She enters the world of Gun Gale Online with her avatar, Llenn, who is less than 150 centimeters (5 feet) tall and wears all pink. She meets a beautiful, brown-skinned female player who goes by Pitohui. They hit it off, but one day Pitohui pressures her to participate in “Squad Jam,” a team Battle Royale variation of the Bullet of Bullets tournament.

Veteran singers LiSA and Eir Aoi sing Sword Art Online: Alicization themes

What’s up everyone and how are you doing? I got some happy and exciting news to share with you in regards to Sword Art Online.

Revealed from the news section of Crunchyroll, Sword Art Online: Alicization will have returning singers to sing the Opening and Ending theme songs. LiSA will be singing the OP titled” ADAMAS”. According to her words, this song is described as a “shining” theme, all about telling your own story and not letting anyone else bring you down.

The Ending theme song will be done by Eir Aoi and the new song will be titled “Iris”. Just like LiSA, Eir Aoi has given an explanation behind the meaning of the song. According to her explanation, Iris means hope in the language of flowers. In her words, “She describes the song as being about “an important person” who encourages you from a distance with a smile, and hopes that she can convey a feeling of hope to the listeners in this new theme.” Iris is planned to be released this upcoming October 24th, making it the 15th single she sold.

If didn’t know, LiSA and Eir Aoi are well-known for doing anime Opening and Ending songs for other anime titles; commonly their voices is what makes Sword Art Online recognizable and popular. LiSA did the song “crossing fields”(SAO first OP season 1), “No More Time Machine” (SAO third ED season 2), “Shirushi” (Season 2 second ED) and “Catch the Moment” (Ordinal Scale film). Eir Aoi is well known for doing the songs INNOCENCE” (second OP in the first season) and “IGNITE” (First OP in season two). Currently, she also performed the OP “Ryusei” for spinoff series Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online.

SAOA: GGO release date finally revealed!


After a long wait, we finally get a release date for the upcoming spinoff anime Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online.

Revealed in Twitter by Aniplex of America, the anime will begin on April 7th! The anime will air on Crunchyroll and Hulu.

Here is what might be last recap news for this anime. This anime is a spinoff of the main Sword Art Online story where characters like Kirito or Asuna is will not appear. Instead, it will focus on a girl named Llenn who enters and competes in Gun Gale Online. Gun Gale Online first appeared in season 2 of the anime. Eir Aoi, singer in some Sword Art Online arcs, is out of hiatus and returning to sing the intro song and the voice of Llenn will be performing the ED song.

Sword Art Online: Alternative Gun Gale Online release date and ED song confirmed!

Announced at Anime News Network and the official Japanese Twitter, the spinoff anime Sword Art Online: Alternative Gun Gale Online will be premiering on April 7th of 2018 in Japanese channels. The ending theme to the anime has also been unvieled and the song is called “To see the future.” The song will be sung by voice actress Tomori Kusunoki who will also voice the protagonist Lenn.

Already mentioned, singer Eir Aoi will be back from hiatus and will be singing the OP song titled Rising Star.
