Howdy partners! If you like watching anime and you want to experience a story in rich animation and high definition surround sound, I got some exciting news to share. I hope these anime in Blu-Ray is better than Funimation’s Dragon Ball Super Broly version. Accounced by Viz, the classic action-adventure romance story Inuyasha is coming back in a Blu-Ray set. The first Blu-Ray set will have 27 episodes (1-27). If you haven’t started your collection yet or want to get the Blu-Ray counterpart, you can buy your copy in this year fall.

Even though this one anime gets criticism, it is still loved by fans. Aniplex of America announced that they are planning to sell Sword Art Online II in a complete Blu-Ray set. You can pre-order this copy at Rightstuf for about $160. The anime covers all three story arcs from the light novel such as Phantom Bullet, Calibur, and Mother’s Rosario. It’s unknown if Aniplex is planning to sell the regular DVD collection like the first set. The bonus content is unspecified but this set is scheduled for release on September 24, 2019.

If you did not know, Eir Aoi took an indefinite hiatus in November 2016 due to poor health. She actually announced on August 2016 that she would cancel her plans in special activities. Until then, she has taken the time to heal and rest herself. Now in 2018, she is back and ready to do more songs.

Anime Jungle Experience

I am going to be quick on this post. Today was my unofficial, or unhappy birthday today and for this day, my family took me on a trip to Little Tokyo. They know that I love anime and manga and my fascination on Japanese culture. Little Tokyo was an exciting place to go. In a funny way, it was like being in actual Tokyo from Japan. My family and I went to the Anime Jungle, also known as the Entertainment Hobby Shop Jungle. I went to three stores and I bought something from each one. I got my first ever Pop! figure of Kirito from Sword Art Online, two manga books of Rosario Vampire Season 2, and a Tobi mask from Naruto Shippuden.

My actual birthday is on March 28th!

Friday Funny 23: Sandwich-kun or Titans?

TGIF! Thank God it’s Friday! Another Friday means another day for a hilarious start for Friday Funny.

So what does this title mean you may ask? This is because tomorrow at Toonami, the last episode of the English Dub Sword Art Online II will premiere and tomorrow will be the last episode of Attack on Titan. Kill la Kill will be returning to Toonami and will be replacing Attack on Titan and the anime Parasyte will also be in Toonami both on October 3rd. This will be the end of two great anime and it is unknown when will they exactly return.

Besides that I am back to school and I am ready for what school has for me. It is the beginning of a new chapter for me.

Without any further delay, let’s start the day with a smile. Have a nice weekend ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

I will end this post with these two music videos about the Spider-Man films and decide which version do you like better. The Spider-Man trilogy (directed by Sam Raimi) or the Amazing Spider-Man (directed by Marc Webb)? Both? or neither?

ISIS-Chan!

Here is the news with ISIS and the world from ANN:

“Ever since the Sunni rebel group, the Islamic State (also known as ISIS, ISIL, or Da’esh) took control of much of northern Iraq in the summer of 2014, Western governments and neighboring countries have puzzled over how to fight it. Should they go for a direct military intervention, or restrict their involvement to air strikes? Can other local rebel groups be trusted to put up a resistance? Can anything be done to hinder the spread of its radical Islamic ideology? While Japan has played a limited role in these discussions, Japanese members of the international hacker group Anonymous have a very Japanese idea: turn the image of the Islamic State from a terrifying rebel group into a harmless teenage girl. ” -from Anime News Network

This 19-year old girl clad in her burqa is named ISIS-Chan and she uses her knife to cut her favorite food melons. She was created a Japanese hacker who works with the organization Anonymous. Anonymous are encouraging people to draw ISIS-Chan and share them around the world as a way to ridicule the ISIS group according to Twitter user @Genknoxx. The user also mentions that this is the way to “de-fang ISIS”. What do you think of ISIS-Chan? Will it be effective or bust? Will it be better or worse?

Welp, it’s finished. I have collected so many anime pictures from the web to make a collage and I think it looks awesome for my blog. It was time consuming but it was worth it. I am not sure if I will be adding more pics, if I do that then the pictures would be microscopic XD
