Burn the Witch manga season 2 and anime release date announced!

Hello my fellow otaku fans! I hope you are ready for the fall season, because 2020 is going to give us more fun for anime and manga pleasure. If you been enjoying the limited series of Burn the Witch, I hope you are ready for more dragon action.

Anime

In case you didn’t know, Tite Kubo’s series Burn the Witch will be getting an anime adaptation this fall. According to Crunchyroll, the anime will begin in October 1st. Depending where you live, the anime will begin at 5:00pm PT for all regions.

Burn the Witch is a series created by Tite Kubo is well-known for creating Bleach and Zombiepowder.

synopsis:

Historically 72% of all the deaths in London are related to dragons, fantastical beings invisible to the majority of the people.

While unknown to most, some people have been standing up to these dragons.

Only inhabitants of Reverse London who live in the hidden “reverse” side of London can see the dragons. Even then, only a selected few become qualified enough as witches or wizards to make direct contact with them.

The protagonists of the story are witch duo Noel Niihashi and Ninny Spangcole. They are protection agents for Wing Bind (WB), an organization for dragon conservation and management. Their mission is to protect and manage the dragons within London on behalf of the people.

Manga

For a one-shot and then a limited four chapter series, Kubo fans want more excitement. The limited series of Burn the Witch has ended, but Tite Kubo has bigger plans for us fans. Revealed through the Japanese Weekly Shonen Jump, Tite Kubo released rough drafts of more Burn the Witch. Burn the Witch will be getting a season 2 and will continue the adventures with Noel and Ninny. In Japan, Tite Kubo will be releasing season 1 of Burn the Witch on the same day as the anime release.

Burn the Witch One-Shot gets limited series!

Great news for any Tite Kubo fans! Are you excited for the upcoming OVA of Burn the Witch? I got some exciting news for you for your manga reading pleasures. Announced on Twitter, Shonen Jump reported that the one-shot manga Burn the Witch will have a limited series. This series will begin on Sunday (8/23) and it will run for four chapters.

If you didn’t know, this series was done by Tite Kubo who is well-known for creating Bleach and Zombiepowder. There is plans for the one-shot to get an OVA later in 2020.

Sakura Wars PS4 game announced!

Get ready PS4 owners, Sega is releasing a new video game and it’s currently exclusive for PS4 users. Highly popular in Japan, Sega announced that there is a new Sakura Wars game. Currently, the game doesn’t have an official name and it’s going by the name PROJECT Sakura Wars. While I do not know this series, there is one piece of news I found quite enticing. It’s been revealed that Bleach creator Tite Kubo is involved in this game and he helped design the main characters.

According to Sega, the game will have a “battle” and “action” game system and players can form bonds with characters. The game is set to be released in spring 2020 for PS4.

News: Kubo returns to Twitter! Sonic Movie directing team!! Lupin III Part IV!!!

After leaving Twitter in September 2015, Bleach creator Tite Kubo returns to the social media Twitter! Even though it’s not a verified account, Yusuke Murata (One-Punch Man character art designer) says that in his Twitter that he has returned. This is the only evidence we have.

The final volume for Bleach will be released in Japan on November 4th. The last volume is number 74.

Sonic

If you haven’t heard the news, Tim Miller (director of Deadpool) left the production for the second film for Deadpool. Instead, he will be working on the live-action/CG film adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog. He will be the executive producer while working with the Oscar Nominee director Jeff Fowler (“Gopher Broke”) and script writers Patrick Casey and Josh Miller (Golan the Insatiable).

 

Lupin III: Part IV

 

Announced last night, American anime distributor Discotek Media have licensed the anime series and sequel Lupin III: Part IV. The anime will have an English dub and sub track. The anime was first premiered in October 2015, first it was premiered in Italy August 2015 and then in Crunchyroll in January 2016.

Plot description:

The story of the new series takes place in Italy and San Marino, and it features a blue-jacketed Lupin in his 20s. The series open with an invitation to Lupin’s wedding to a new character named Rebecca (played by Yukiyo Fujii in the Japanese version).

Tite Kubo leaves Twitter

Noriaki Kubo, pen named as Tite Kubo, announced on his last tweet that he will deactivate his Twitter account.

“【お知らせ】明日木曜夜、今から約24時間後にTwitterアカウントを一旦削除します。ご用の方はそれまでにDMでお願いします。”

Translation: “Notice: As of Thursday evening, I’m going to remove my Twitter account within the next 24 hours. Until then people who have business with me, please send me direct messages.”

It is unknown why he did this.

According to the Weekly Shonen Jump editorial staff, Kubo is frustrated with these users online misusing his identity. He feels that it is a violation of his rights and he willing to go as far to legal repercussions against these malicious acts.
