Deadpool 3 in works with Marvel Studios

See the source image

Marvel is a real popular franchise that no only still gives us comics of our heroes like Avengers, Spider-Man and X-Men, it has also expanded into movie companies. Disney holds some rights for characters and gave us movies like Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and Black Panther. Fox has X-Men, Deadpool and Fantastic Four. Sony has Spider-Man and Venom. Thanks to an agreement with Disney and Fox, Disney has more access to Fox titled characters from Marvel meaning we could get a potential X-Men and Fantastic Four movie withing the Avengers world. However, this also includes the rated-R comedy action movie Deadpool. Today, I found some interesting news in regards to Deadpool and the people behind Marvel Studios. In a talk show from Live with Kelly and Ryan, Ryan Reynolds (actor who plays as Wade Wilson/Deadpool) made an appearance on the show and stated that he is currently working on Deadpool 3. He also mentions that they are working on the movie at the Marvel Studios. So far there is no release date or no confirmation on any returning directors or producers. Some people are speculating that if the movie is going to be working at Marvel Studios it could be possible for Deadpool to be in a world where Avengers exists. What do you think?

Rumor news: Tom Holland MIGHT make a cameo in Venom 2

See the source image

Even though Spider-Man is part of the MCU, he is still owned by Sony. If you remembered a whole back, Spider-Man was briefly removed from the MCU world all because Disney wanted a new deal with Sony where they get 50/50 of income from the webhead and this caused Sony to pull him away; fortunately, Spider-Man is still in the MCU with the Avengers with a settled deal. However, Sony does have plans for Spider-Man in their own Sony Universe with Venom and Morbius.

What I am about to say is not 100% confirmed but it is a rumor. According to rumors and sources, there is talks of having Tom Holland Spider-Man appear in the sequel movie Venom 2. Thanks to a deal with Sony and Disney, Marvel-Sony is in talks of having MCU Spider-Man appear in their own movies. However, there are some negotiations that needs to be talked before anything is confirmed. If it is true, sources say that this Spider-Man might be an alternate version where he is not involved with the MCU world. Another claim is that if it is MCU Spider-Man, then that would mean Venom is also part of the MCU.

How do you feel about this rumor news? Do you want this to happen?

Venom 2 may be rated-R

If we can get a rated-R movie about Joker and Deadpool, what if we could do it with Venom. According to Cinema Blend, Venom producer Matt Tolmach made a comment that he is considering giving the sequel to 2018’s Venom the rated-R treatment. The reason being is because he saw the success to DC’s recent movie Joker which was given the rating R and it earned over a billion dollars. Here is what Tolmach said:

I mean, I think you always have to think about [it], now that that works. Having said that, our movie worked really well. Our franchise exists as it is, and I don’t think anybody is looking to just say, ‘Hey, they [did it]!’ We have a place in the world. So it isn’t like suddenly everybody’s considering what to do with the rating. … I think what Joker does is it tells you that you can succeed. For a very long time, that was the narrative. And Deadpool sort of wrestled that to the turf, and then Logan, but for a long time, that was considered totally forbidden. … So you know, I think it’s the greatest thing in the world that R-rated movies are being embraced by massive audiences. And it just means that there are more opportunities for that kind of storytelling.

With movies like Logan, Deadpool and even Joker, producer Matt Tomach and director Andy Serkis are considering making Venom 2 for a much more older audience. If you didn’t know, the first Venom was released in October 2018 with a PG-13 rating. The movie met with mixed reviews from critics and even hardcore fans. What do you think about a rated-R Venom movie?

Venom Walmart Exclusive DVD combo unbox

Hello everyone! Welcome back for another fun post from yours truly. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I mentioned a while back that I went to see Venom on October of 2018. It was a fun movie to watch and I like this Venom better than the one from Spider-Man 3. When I heard of news of this movie was ready to preorder for the Christmas season, I quickly placed an order from Walmart. For $30, Walmart was selling an exclusive copy which contains the movie Venom for DVD, Blu-Ray, Digital and even an action figure. The Twitter account for Venom even made a fun 90s video commercial promoting the action figure.

Now that I got this, let me show off some pictures!

The box set for the movie is pretty big, but the action figure itself is quite small. The box is usual cardboard and inside the Blu-Ray case which has the two discs for DVD and Blu-Ray and a redeem code for the digital. The Actio figure is small which is the average size of an action figure. Overall, I say it’s a good deal if you want to make use of your money. I will probably do a Venom movie review in the future. For $30, you get all the movie formats along with a nifty figure that is not Pop Funko figure. Walmart does an excellent job on exclusives.

Marvel News: Venom might have possible after credits scene and unrated version

We are less than a couple of weeks away for the upcoming Marvel movie Venom. Unlike the other Marvel movies such as the ones from Disney and Fox, Venom is going to be from Sony and it won’t have the character Spider-Man involved with the story. Revealed on Fandango, the director Ruben Fleischer answers questions about the movie and the character of Venom. In one of the questions asked, Fandango asked for a possible unrated version for the home videos of the movie.

Fandango: Do you think you would do an unrated version of it on home release?

Ruben Fleischer: I wouldn’t rule anything out. We’ll have to see where it lands, I guess, but I wouldn’t rule anything out.

Another question is asked if there is a possible post credits scene after the movie.

Fandango: Should people stay for the credits?

Ruben Fleischer: I think it would be a mistake of any superhero movie not to stay through the credits.

These are some of the questions that I found interesting. If you want to read the questions and answers, you can follow the link or tweet to the website. Venom comes out on October 5th 2018 and the actor playing ad Venom/Eddie Brock Jr. is Tom Hardy. Eminem will be involved and make a song for the movie. This movie is already rated PG-13 and it might get an unrated version in home video release. Venom is an antihero in the Spider-Man comics, but this movie won’t be having anything to do with Spider-Man.
