Shonen Jump readers, I bring good news! If you are a reader for the Weekly Shonen Jump and been a member from the beginning, you might have remembered the sci-fi series World Trigger. The manga disappeared in the magazine because of the author’s health condition. Revealed in a illustration on Twitter, manga author Daisuke Ashihara is coming out from hiatus and will go back to the series World Trigger. World Trigger will be in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine on October 29th.
The manga took a week hiatus in September 2014 due to cervical spondylosis and occasionally took one week breaks. However, his health grew worse and went to hiatus in November 2016.

Great news for Shonen Jump fans, get ready for another series to join the brawl in the upcoming Jump Force game. With characters like Dragon Ball, One Piece and Naruto being added to the game, players can get happier today as Bandai Namco just announced another Jump title to join the game. The series is Saint Seiya or in America we used to call it Knights of the Zodiac. Revealed in the gameplay trailer, fans can use Pegasus Saint Seiya and Dragon Saint Shiryū.
The game set to be released this February 2019.
Viz Media has been really busy especially since they attended the New York Comic Con, With every convention, there is news for the fans. Announced this weekend, the popular series Boruto: The Next Generation will finally be getting the home video treatment. In the spring of 2019, fans can finally get their own copy of the anime in DVD. Boruto: Naruto Next Generation is a sequel spinoff to the classic series of the Naruto frnachise (it’s the sequel to the anime Naruto Shippuden). The anime is being watched over by Naruto creator of Mashashi Kishimoto.
If you like Yu-Gi-OH!, I got news from the manga creator Kazuki Takahashi. It’s been announced that Takahashi currently created a one-shot manga called THE COMIQ. The one-shot manga will be released on October 15th in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in both the English and Japanese version.
Last but not least, get ready for a new manga adaptation of RWBY. This new RWBY manga is be made by Bunta Kinami. RWBY has appeared in many manga adaptations before such as one made by Shirow Miwa and others where it is made into an anthology collections.
Good morning fellow manga fans! I bring good news in regards to Hunter x Hunter. Originally announced in the 43rd issue of the Japanese Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, Yoshihiro Togashi’s well-known manga series Hunter x Hunter is returning again. This manga was on hiatus for five months and the last issue it was on was in April. The manga will return on September 22. Hello readers, I got some exciting news from the world of manga of Weekly Shonen Jump. As you may have noticed, Weekly Shonen Jump not only releases new magazines every week digital, but they also have a podcast where fans can listen to the editors share the news and discuss the recent issue of manga. In this special podcast episode, the team got the chance to meet Kohei Horikoshi and interview him. Kohei Horikoshi is the creator of the popular series My Hero Academia and he also did the series Barrage. Check it out!
The podcast video was uploaded yesterday, but this marks five years since the North American publishing team Weekly Shonen Jump started the podcast. In this video, the team gets interviewed by the head of the podcast Urian and he asks the team how does it feel to work with manga. These are the people in charge of the online magazine and each member has helped on other manga volumes such as One Piece, Haikyuu! and Dragon Ball Super. I didn’t expect to this news in the morning. It seems like Kenshin will be back in June. After being charged for harboring child pornography at work and home and being charged for 200,000 yen ($1,870), Rurouni Kenshin is expected to come back in Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan.
June 4th will be the day where the Hokkaido Arc will resume. According to the Shonen Jump editorial department, the team gave a huge apology to anyone who was involved and had concerns about the manga. The department mentioned Rurouni Kenshin creator Nobuhiro Watsuki and revealed that Watsuki took this hiatus and reflect and remorse for his crimes.
So it looks like after the terrible news before, the creator regrets what he did and he is hoping he be forgiven. Rurouni Kenshin Hokkaido Arc will be back in June 4th in Japan. This will also mean, American readers will be able to read the manga too.

If you are like me and already subscribed to the English Weekly Shonen Jump, I got good news to tell you. It’s been announced in this week issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine that the popular and classic Shonen manga Rurouni Kenshin will be joining the magazine and it will be a new series. According to the announcement, this new series will take place after the side story Rurouni Kenshin Side Story and the protagonist will be Kenshin. The story will be focused on Hokkaido and it will consist of five arcs! The new series will begin next Monday!

Announced on Monday, One Piece will be receiving a 2-hour anime special covering the East Blue arc. The special is called One Piece Episode of East Blue: Luffy and His 4 Crewmates’ Big Adventure. The special will premiere on August 26 at 9:00 p.m. and it will include the East Blue characters Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji. The special will also have the iconic chapter covers and the song “We Are” as part of the manga’ 20th anniversary. The special will start from Luffy’s beginning to him and his friends entering the Grand Line. The animation will also be redone as well.
